Ingredients:
- Toor dal(1/2 cup),
- chopped vegetables (2cup),
- Nellon sambar powder 3 tablespoons,
- coconut oil 1/2 tablespoon,
- Tomato -1,
- salt to taste,
- Mustered,
- turmeric,
- dry red chillies,
- curry leaves (as required ),
- water -1cup
Method:
Boil the washed toor dal and pressure cook it for 3 to 4 whistles.
Add chopped vegetables along with a pinch of turmeric powder in 3 cups of water and cook till it’s half-boiled. Add tomato and boil for the next 10 minutes. Add Nelson sambar powder and stir to boil well. Heat coconut oil in a pan and add mustard, dried red chillies and curry leaves. Once it’s ready pour it directly into the sambar
